Salome by Per Ung
There is something about this statue, that made me want to take it's picture almost everyday, on my way to the theater, as it was right next to the hotel I was staying at in Bergen, Norway. It's called Salome by the Norwegian artist Per Ung. The instant I saw this statue and every time I looked at it after that, I felt free. I don't know why! This statue carries so much movement, I find it really impressive. I took several pictures of it, but this is the one that conveys my f

Palm trees (cliché series)
I have been taking pictures of Palm trees for more than 10 years now and I can't seem to get bored of it. I keep trying to find an interesting angle or an interesting idea. But I can't seem to find either. This is a picture I took recently with my new camera. This is a picture that you have seen in all tour guides about all and every country, where Palm tress grow. Yet, I find Palm tress magical and I hope I can post more pictures soon. Until then,... Enjoy!

28 and fabulous!
Sometimes the circumstances are just right for a spontaneous photo shoot. This is again the manual lens in low light conditions, so the focus didn't turn out the way it is supposed to be. I still love the colors and the feeling in these two pictures. This is my birthday gift to a dear friend. She calls it "The Birthday Gift" and I call it "28 and Fabulous!" Enjoy!

The bubbles of Bergen
A few weeks ago I posted a picture of Mateusz the giant bubble blower. I would like to share more pictures of him blowing giant bubbles. This one was particularly challenging, as I was shooting with my dad's lens: A f/1.8, 50mm manual Nikon. It was a good opportunity to practice manual focus. The day before, when I saw Mateusz for the first time, I took pictures and not a single one was in focus! The next day I went determined to do a better job. And I was happy with the end

Dreamy waterfall (cliché series)
Another picture the world doesn't need. A few months ago I had an idea and I needed to by an ND filter, which made me read more about long exposure photography by day. I then got introduced to the work of Darren Moore and others and I was inspired. I took the picture of this waterfall in spirit of these photographers. This was my first time, but I am planning on repeating the experiment. Enjoy.
